I first began seeing Marie when I was in my third trimester of pregnancy while I was suffering with pregnancy insomnia. Oh, how I wished I had seen her sooner! My symptoms eased after the first session and Marie also treated other pregnancy symptoms, I was suffering with including; water retention and swollen ankles. I never ever suffered with swollen ankles again!

I was initially very nervous at my first session as I do not like needles but as soon as Marie opened the door, I knew I was in safe hands! She completely put me at ease. Marie really took her time to speak with me about my concerns and anxiety around pregnancy and I felt so much better after every treatment.

I regularly saw Marie right up until my son was born and I feel that the regular treatments I had played a huge part in me feeling so well and active during those last few weeks. The post birth treatments were amazing and just what I needed when I was feeling sleep deprived and exhausted. I continue to have treatments when I am not feeling 100% and they pick me up straight away! I would recommend Marie to anyone.

I have had pain in my shoulder on and off for 7 years. I have been to a chiropractor, physios, and attended sports massage sessions without success. I have been visiting Marie for a few weeks now with sciatica pain from a Herniated disk.
I have visited chiropractors physiotherapists and osteopaths and two years on was at my tethers end. Not a fan of needles acupuncture was a last resort. Marie made quite a bold claim and said she could get rid of that pain. Quite simply she has done that. I continue with my treatments and look forward every time to the results. I’m more than happy to leave a review for Marie. Life had been difficult since early 2018 when we had a family illness which then unfortunately became a bereavement – it took a lot out of me both physically, mentally and emotionally. On top of this I then had a nagging shoulder injury which left me with constant pain and feeling that my movement would never be the same. I’d visited my GP, had Physio, tried strengthening exercises and was having to take pain killers to help with my shoulder.
I found Marie on our local village FB page and thought “its worth giving a go” as nothing else seemed to be working with my shoulder. Right from my first session with Marie I started to feel better. She not only helped with my shoulder but my general take on life.
Being an Engineer I’m always inquisitive on how things work – can I explain how Marie has helped – I can’t explain the science behind it but what I can say that she has made a dramatic difference to my life as I currently have no shoulder pain and physically, mentally and emotionally I feel back on top of my game, I have so much more energy and I can only put it down to Marie’s knowledge and care.
Would I recommend Marie – absolutely – as I said to her this morning I feel like I’ve had a CTRL/ALT/DELETE Reboot on life! 😊

I think I am beginning to loose count how many times I’ve called Marie asking for a rescue. First time - out of desperation as pulled my back muscle and couldn’t move. It was fascinating to feel how with every needle the pain was disappearing. I have since used accupuncture for both acute trauma moments ( torn knee ligament / pain) as well as general wellness. My Renaud's symptoms have improved so is general muscle tension/ menopause symptoms. Marie has got an amazing knowledge where the needles need to go to address the symptoms you report. And by the way - you might find that the ones you haven’t reported will improve too ))) separate thank you for helping me out yesterday - my knee was so stiff and this morning there is not a sign, feel fully functional again.

Marie was recommended to me by another therapist in relation to managing hormones. I had never experienced accupuncture before and wasn't a fan of the idea of small needles in my body but something about the ancient practice drew me in and I went along to see Marie. At the time, I was quite stressed and hormonal with various things going on that were probably making my digestion and autoimmune condition worse. Marie immediately put me at ease and whilst some of the treatment is a felt experience (it can hurt a bit!), I felt more alert, calm and in touch with my surroundings after the first treatment. I haven't looked back and see Marie every couple of weeks. I would attend more often if I could! She has shown me how this unusual approach can deal with pain, balance hormones, settle the digestion and she knows a thing or two about diet, too! I feel in safe hands with Marie and would highly recommend her to anyone wanting some support with any health issue. She's very knowledgeable and will look up the best treatment - translating the Western name or description into a Chinese medicine approach. If you are in any doubt, give it a go and you won't look back either!
