Sandra is amazing - I had a fear of needles and she guided me through my options with great empathy, care and expertise. It was so reassuring that she has such empathy and a genuine care for her clients. Once I knew about other options, such as acupressure and moxa, and with her great care and understanding, I felt like I could try some of the acupuncture needles too, with fantastic results. Overall, I would highly recommend Sandra, her expertise and compassion shine through - we are very lucky to have her in Longridge!

I have been visiting Sandra's clinic for over three years now and wouldn't go anywhere else.
Sandra has treated me most effectively for several things including my back, knee and hip.
Most recently was my hip which has now been replaced, but until it was possible to get a new hip joint it was Sandra and her infinite knowledge of acupuncture that kept me mobile. Sometimes it was nearly impossible for me to walk but after a visit to Tonic Acupuncture I would be skipping around like a spring lamb!
Sandra's clinic is really relaxing with beautiful plants and scents in the air which make you feel amazing!
I have had Moxibustion as well as acupuncture and found both to be painless and effective.
Sandra is really knowledgeable about many things apart from acupuncture and her gentle, approachable style makes you feel that you could ask her about anything ! I have to say that it is a shame when it is time to leave!
I would, without hesitation recommend Sandra and Tonic Acupuncture to anyone who is in pain because I have been there and I know first hand that Sandra can help!

Genuinely Transformational
After researching a number of acupuncture specialist I actually met Sandra at an event and what struck me was both how genuine and knowledgable she was. She shared with me the most important factor when having acupuncture is the feeling you get from and the "fit" with the therapist which is obviously different for different people. As an engineer I'm very interested in logic and physics and was impressed with Sandra's deep knowledge of why the body reacts in the ways it does and the associated science behind this. Sandra has helped me with a range of problems from a trapped nerve in my neck to muscle spasms and long term problems with ear infections. I had no idea acupuncture could help with all of these factors. Sandra's advice extends to lifestyle choices, food types and strikes the perfect balance in her approach to genuinely motivate people. I have made a number of positive changes in my life which has genuinely been transformed with Sandra's help, I can't thank her enough. For anyone considering if alternative therapy could maybe help I can highly recommend Sandra. She is extremely passionate about people, their well being and her profession. She is an active member of the acupuncture governing body. It is a rare pleasure to find someone who is so focussed and dedicated to her profession yet so caring and thoughtful. Thank you Sandra

Sandra is amazing!
She has been helping me with the arthritis that has set in my ankle after I damaged it at work.
I have been going to get treatments from her on a weekly basis and it’s amazing to lay on the treatment table and watch the swelling go down and the pain go away.
I have a very physically demanding job that I would never be able to do if it wasn’t for the weekly treatments that I have been receiving.

I had been suffering with chronic pain from carpel tunnel in both wrists for 2 years. It became so bad in the first lockdown, I couldn’t sleep.

I’d tried 2 lots of steroid injections and felt I had no other option but to have the operation which would put my hands out of action for 6 weeks making it impossible to manage with 2 small children and I’d also heard from a few people who’d had it done that it didn’t work. The operation wasn’t an option anyway due to Covid. I was desperate and the situation / pain was making me extremely depressed.

A physio put me in touch with Sandra as she was professionally renowned for looking at the much bigger picture when it came to your health and ailments and having always preferred the holistic approach to treatment, I booked myself in for an assessment and follow up appointment.

I cannot fault Sandra. Over the course of 6 acupuncture sessions, not only has my carpel tunnel gone, but my overall mental health and connection to my mind and body has improved greatly. Sandra gave me everything I desperately needed and so much more.

I find her knowledge and holistic approach to medicine fascinating. A few things she has told me / diagnosed have blown me away.

Sandra And Janet, are most Welcoming, my First time with Acupuncture, and Make you feel at ease straight away. Their Knowledge of Their Treatments, is second to none, very Professional, caring and thoughtful. I couldn't believe how better I felt, after having Acupuncture, my condition, was healing very fast. I still come to Tonic Acupuncture, as I feel, a sense of well being. If not for any specific treatment.
