Avoid New Homes Mortgages – biased, unprofessional, and not buyer-focused. We were pushed to use them by the housing association, even though we had a better offer from an independent shared ownership broker who issued an AIP and confirmed affordability. Still, New Homes Mortgages sabotaged our application under a false "affordability" excuse.

Kajun Tsang was dismissive, saying “we already chose one lender for you – why do you want others?” They wasted 6 weeks, made us lose a better property, and only caused problems when we asked for options after signing the reservation.

If you're a first-time buyer, avoid them unless you’re happy accepting whatever lender and rate they pick for you. You deserve a broker who works for you — not one chasing commission.
