I have been working with Fumiaki for a few months now and he has combined craniosacral therapy and the Alexander Technique in my sessions and it has been incredible. I have had huge emotional release and physical shifts in my body and feels like my overall wellbeing has improved significantly. I appreciate his kind and gentle approach to this work and his professionalism when conducting sessions.

Fumiaki's style of teaching Alexander Technique combines his experience of craniosacral therapy as well as other modalities and disciplines he has studied and developed. This means that each session draws on his abilities to teach precise understanding of how the body both rests and moves. Imperceptibly, lesson by lesson I feel that my body is being carefully retuned. I think everyone should experience this at some point in their lives!

I went to see Fumiaki about my painful left hip. I had had two physio appointments prior to this which didn’t ease the pain at all. At my first appointment, Fumiaki talked to me at some length about the pain I was experiencing. He recommended a combination of the Alexander Technique and craniosacral therapy. We started with the craniosacral therapy which involved me lying face up on his treatment table, supported under my neck and knees. I felt weightless. He placed his hands softly under my body. I could feel myself relaxing and straightening out. It is an energising experience as you feel in touch with your body. The Alexander training is designed to further improve my poor posture. After very few sessions and regularly lying down at home (my homework!) my hip is almost completely back to normal. I now move, walk and sit more consciously and I feel great. I cannot recommend, or thank, Fumiaki enough.

I took my 13 year old son to see Fumiaki as my son had an ache in his back. Fumiaki is kind, professional and very personable. He has a wonderful way with connecting to people, whatever their age and circumstances. My son really enjoys his sessions with Fumiaki and his back is no longer aching.

I too, had some sessions with Fumiaki and I have found my stress levels have vastly reduced since starting working with him. I highly recommend Fumiaki if you have any sort of problem with your back and also he works with stress and anxiety with the 3 Principles technique.

Fumiaki is kind, gentle and respectful - a wonderful practioner.

I have been recieving Craniosacral therapy from Fumiaki for several months now and the results have been life-changing. Fumiaki is extremely knowledgeable about what the human body needs to heal as well as having very calming presence and being attentive to the needs of his clients. I'd highly recommend Fumiaki to anyone suffering with chronic pain, anxiety, stress, recovering from trauma or seeking more peace in their lives.

Having had sciatica pain on and off for years and recently herniating a disc in my lower back my doctor mentioned that the alexander technique may be of benefit.
From my very first appointment with fumiaki I could instantly tell I was onto something!
I don't think I ever feel more relaxed as I do during and after a session and I also now have techniques I use every day that truly help!
Fumaiki is incredibly good at what he does and I highly recommend him!

I started learning Alexander Technique with Fumiaki in September after realising that chronic muscle tension and poor posture were causing various unpleasant symptoms. Over the past few months, I've slowly learned to release tension and start the process of getting my body back into its natural position.

Fumiaki has always been patient and helpful, and his work and expertise have really helped. I would definitely recommend Fumiaki to anyone interested in studying Alexander Technique. I wish I had done this years ago!

I had some AT lessons several years ago but stopped because I didn’t feel I was making much progress. Recently I decided to try again and found Fumiaki. I still cannot believe my luck. He has taken it to a whole new level.
Fumiaki’s touch is magical. So light it almost feels like it’s not there at all, yet it completely transforms the way my body feels, and the way I feel about my body.
I have a longstanding spinal condition that means that every part of me is misaligned, my internal organs are squashed, my neck and shoulders locked in a fierce clench, and my muscles strain to hold my body upright. The medical profession has never had anything to offer that was not totally dehumanising. They told me when I was 16 that I would be lucky to live beyond 40, but I am now in my late 60s. The fear and sense of shame they instilled in me has been far worse than any physical discomfort.
In our sessions Fumiaki combines Alexander Technique with Craniosacral Therapy and it feels really, really good. So good I sometimes want to cry. By seemingly doing nothing at all (no massage or manipulation) he somehow manages to make all the tension melt away, creating a state of deep mental and physical relaxation that then allows him to gently work on my posture. I love the profound quietness and absolute focus he brings to the sessions and I feel completely safe, as though I am in the hands of a master practitioner.
I come away feeling really energised and find myself floating through the week, moving more freely and efficiently in my everyday activities. I may never feel truly at ease in my twisted body, but since restarting AT with Fumiaki I am certainly able to look to the future (and old age) with new hope.
