I can't speak highly enough of my experience with Paula. Over the past few years, she has helped me navigate and overcome numerous challenging situations that life has thrown my way. Each session leaves me feeling more positive, understood, and relieved. Paula has a unique ability to truly empathise and connect, making me feel heard and supported in every conversation. Her patience, understanding, and unwavering support have made such a significant difference in my life. Without Paula’s guidance, I would have struggled so much more. I am deeply grateful for her help and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of a compassionate, insightful therapist.

My counselling journey needed a good strong supervisor that was flexible and capable of maintaining boundaries at the same time. Paula was fantastic support through my time with her. Highly recommended!

Paula has been fantastic and incredible support through the start of a difficult period to a positive end.. Would highly recommend. Family based therapy and hands on wisdom. A huge thanks for helping steer the ship.

I can’t recommend Paula highly enough. I was nervous before my first visit having never been to a therapist before, however Paula immediately put me at ease and I felt very comfortable with her. Paula is friendly, welcoming and easy to talk to. She has helped me enormously with an ongoing family situation that I wasn’t coping with very well. She helped me to understand the dynamics of the relationships and how to deal with the issues I had. I have learnt so much from Paula and feel like a huge weight has been taken off my shoulders. I now feel confident in how to cope with any similar situations which may occur in the future. Thank you so much Paula.

I’ve been seeing Paula for supervision for almost two years. Her knowledge and expertise have guided me through the challenges I’ve faced as a trainee therapist. I’ve particularly benefited from learning how to question clients and when to listen. She’s responded quickly when I’ve needed her to and her advice and wisdom have been pivotal to my development as a counsellor. Her professionalism and work ethic make her a good role model.

I cannot recommend Paula highly enough to anyone who may be struggling or going through a difficult time. Paula has created a safe space where you can talk openly and she not only listens but provides meaningful help and advice that can be applied to day-to-day life. She really helped me and after a series of sessions I now have a more positive outlook on life!

I will be forever grateful for the help and support Paula has given me over the last year. When I first met Paula my anxiety was starting to affect my day to day life, but this has now hugely improved and I now recognise the signs and I know how to manage how I'm feeling. Paula was so approachable, kind and reassuring from the offset. I already have and will continue to recommend Essex Talking Therapy to anyone who needs it. Thank you Paula.
