Don’t know where to begin. They often tell you only what they want you to know. The communication is really really poor and often was is discussed in appointments to what is written in the letters are two completely separate things. They try and change diagnoses after half phone call and all because a certain psychiatrist has 36 years experience. Most of the staff come across as arrogant and ignorant. They do look after their own.

My heart goes out to anyone who has the misfortune of falling under the ‘care’ of this team. Appalling treatment by staff and all of the other reviews are right. They just want people in and out of their care as quickly as possible and show no empathy or understanding to patients. This centre is a danger to our community and the vulnerable people within it.

Disgusting service especially when in need. They don't care about any concerns you have & quick to get rid of you. I question why a certain psychiatrist is in her job with the lack of empathy she has towards her patients. She rather have you rely on certain charities to deal with mental health episodes when it can be Prevented. They give rubbish to no care plan after any suicide attempts. Already made a formal complaint, yet nothing changes. It has nothing to do with lack of funding, its lack of compassion & empathy that's the issue especially if you are under this certain psychiatrist. If you want to get anywhere I suggest you become a nuisance constantly ring etc.
Comes to something the Receptionist has more compassion than the professionals themselves.
Mental health services have really gone down hill. If you have the money pay private at least you will get somewhere.

These people get paid enough, so why is it so hard to do the job properly if at all!

I have been on the edge of taking my life as a 42 year old male. I was told by mental health hub I would be seeing a psychologist as well and they could also help with my ADHD. I strongly believe I need a full assessment and the ADHD treatment, they made it clear that I won't be getting that help and the ADHD wait is 2 - 4 years. They booked me in for the following week appointment for another catch up, not even the next day either, so just as casual as you like with no urgency for a patient with high risk. I am now waiting for a delivery of gas to end my life . hope you have better luck than myself

[ Lovely staff here, Parking could be a little bit better but if you put the work in then you get results. I'm unsure of these negative reviews, they may be misled. ] - This was my previous review, however they now are very unorganized and have failed to send a simple letter regarding my adhd action plan to my gp even after multiple attempts at contacting them. They just want you in and out.

Well to be honest I have no words how to describe how poor and shocking the services is at park house and what they provide with patients who really suffer from there mental health problems. Nearly 10 years I’ve been with park house discharged once then went back to see if I could get the help I need due to hearing voices and yet again I haven’t. I have had multiple times where I’ve attempted to end my life multiple times in A&E. park house have messed my medication up on so many occasions where it’s left me suicidal which has caused major issues. My psychiatrist who I have been seeing for about a year never wants to listen to your struggles your suffering from then I’ve been without a CPN for months so I have had really no one to talk to and today 21 september 2023 my appointment with my psychiatrist was supposed to be a hour in which he cut it short. Which lasted 20 minutes but the letter says 1 hour. I have completely lost faith in park house adult mental health services and as from now on the best option for my self and anyone seeking help is to go private and find someone suitable for your needs because that place will end up making you worse or believing that your completely fine when in reality your not and in need of serious help.

Absolutely appalling service, failed my friend massively leaving them without support due to CPN lacking in basic communication skills, not turning up to appointments, failing to disclose when on annual leave, and putting the phone down when asking for support. Disgusting service from all individuals of the team.

Shocking services when you rely on them to prevent you harming yourself, they don't care, I had one psychiatrist tell me I was using her as a punch bag. .. baring in mind I'm autistic and introverted I haven't got a voice. Diabolical services, I actually pay for my own private Councilling now
