I began seeing Ellie at the Back and Body Clinic Wootton branch at the start of the year with some hip pain. I was in training for the London Marathon and before seeing Ellie I was worried this injury might hamper my opportunity to run it. With her friendly nature and exceptional expertise, she made me feel at ease during my consultation and was quickly able to identify what the issue was. She gave me brilliant advice and exercises to support me in continuing my training plan and I looked forward to the “nice pain” of her targeting the problem areas in our sessions. I’m so grateful for her support over the past 5 months and cannot recommend her highly enough. Without Ellie I may not have made it to the finish line, so thank you Ellie for helping me to complete my challenge!

I presented to Tyla (physiotherapist) as a very poorly 78 year old with such a pain in my shoulder that was unbelievable. I was full of painkillers and could hardly put a sentence together.
Tyler was able to diagnose the problem,
she could not fix it, but sent me to see her colleague that she thought could, and he did.
This young lady is a Legend and has become my Hero.
She has treated my damaged soft tissue on my rotor cuff in a kind, sympathetic and very professional manner, resulting in the full return of pain free movement of my shoulder within six months. Quite an achievement.
All staff at this Back & Body Clinic make it a very pleasant experience. Thank you all very much.

Stuart Barker has been helping to rehab my left knee after two complicated operations to revise an ACL reconstruction that had re-torn. His knowledge, willingness to learn about the impact of a relatively uncommon surgery and patience have got me from not being able to safely stand without my knee collapsing, to being to become a fully qualified Pilates instructor within 6 months of the second op. He has a great manner and brilliant sense of humour - very much required when the rehab path takes its inevitable dips and turns. I would highly recommend him and the Back and Body clinic in general as all of the staff have been responsive, helpful and caring.

This is a review of Stuart Barker.
Stuart has been treating me for the last 7 months and helping me on my recovery from a total hip replacement. I can’t complement Stuart highly enough for his knowledge and professional support in enabling me to regain full mobility, which I know without him would not have happened. During our journey together I suffered some quite low moments and Stuart gave me invaluable mental support to get me through those dark days when rehab seems to be getting you nowhere. I would highly recommend Stuart’s professional services to anyone in a similar position.

I have been receiving treatment from Stuart Barker for nearly seven months now and I cannot recommend him or Back & Body highly enough. I suffered a serious leg fracture in the summer of 2024 requiring significant surgical repair and have been having near weekly physio appointments with Stuart since July 2024. His attention to detail, expert guidance and support are a large part of why I am back to being as functional and as active as I was pre-injury. I would highly recommend Stuart!

Very professional approach by both Stuart Barker & Mike Mansfield, fully explaining what the issue was and how they intended to resolve my shoulder injury.
