I came to Mike wanting help in overcoming my fear of heights. I'd had some moments previously (especially in New York) where the anxiety I felt when at height was awful. Three years afterwards, I could still picture myself at the top of the Rockerfella Centre and that feeling stayed with me. Each encounter with heights brought me back to the same feelings. I reached out to Mike for help - I had a family holiday booked to Marrakech and wanted to have a special family memory of going up in a Hot Air Balloon. I wanted to have a postive memory of the Hot Air Balloon without any of the anxieties I'd felt before. I went into the sessions with Mike and wasn't sure what to expect. I must say, open your mind and be prepared to think about things that you hadn't realised were related! Go with it though, it's all part of the journey. After two emotional sessions with Mike he assured me that when I approached the balloon in Marrakech I wouldn't feel the same as I had before. The day came and although I felt nervous at first, I managed to climb into the basket and flew in the balloon for 45 minutes. I even managed to look over the edge of the basket at the ground below and didn't feel any of the anxiousness that I'd felt before. When we landed, I messaged Mike and sent him a picture of the view from the air. What a feeling knowing that with Mike's help, I managed to do that. It was quite an emotional message to send knowing that I'd managed to do that with Mike's help. I can't rate Mike highly enough. His attitude and how approachable he is is amazing! If you feel you're in need of help, Mike is your Man!

After the second session with Mike, I literally forgot to take my the medication, antidepressants etc. However did not realize for three weeks, so was stunned the moment I did. I can’t recommend Mike highly enough. If you have tried other therapy and found it wasn’t for you or didn’t work then please don’t give up. I have tried CBT multiple times, counselling multiple times for anxiety/PTSD and I took very little from them and thought maybe therapy just wasn’t going to work for me. I wanted to try again from a different angle and found Mike. He is completely different from any other, I met Mike when I was rock bottom, desperate for help. I have now finished my sessions and it is hard to describe how much my mindset has changed.
